Different Types of servers

A server is a computer program that provides services to other computer programs in the same computer or other computers. The computer that a server program runs in is also referred to as a server.  
•File server: A computer and storage device that stores files. Any user on the network can store files on the server.
•Print server: A computer that manages one or more printers. It is what allows you to be able to go onto any computer and print something out of the same printer.
•Email server: A mail server is an application that receives incoming e-mails from local users. An email server will consist of a storage area, which is where the mail is stored for local users.

The difference between the World Wide Web and the internet

Some people get mixed up between the World Wide Web and the internet but they're actually two different things.

The internet is a huge network of networks. Its what connects your computer to other computers globally, meaning that you connect with any other computer across the planet who also has an internet connection.

The world wide web (WWW) is the way of accessing and sharing information in the form of HTML pages using the internet to do so. It's a way that you can connect with actual people across the planet through the web.
